The King greeted us on the balcony in the lobby to let us know the tournament was about to begin. We even got to meet one of the stars of the show, a falcon, and his handler. We all enjoyed the Dragon Slayer but you can also pre-purchase a bottle of wine for during the show. Drinks are also available during the show but it’s best to look at the drink menu when you have the chance to look at all the tasty choices and aren’t busy cheering for your Knight.

There we found a bar full of alcoholic beverages and a gift shop. After a brief photo opp with our entire party with the king we headed inside. I find it incredible that people actually used such devices!Īfter spending about 30 minutes going through the village we headed on over to the main castle to wait in the lobby. It is complete with cloth making, a blacksmith shop and Medieval torture devices (which some parents may want to be aware of if you are taking small children). My husband and I always enjoy historical things like that. It is a walking tour where you guide yourselves and you can learn more about the way of life back then. Before we went inside we decided to visit the Medieval village that is right outside the castle. These kind of shows are definitely more fun with friends!Īfter getting your tickets at the booth you are given a colored card that indicates what knight you will be rooting for.

We went with another couple that we are close friends with. I decided I needed a date night without the kids and a dinner show is exactly what I had in mind. I went to Medieval Times once as a child with my parents and brother, another time with my husband back when we were dating over 10 years ago and now just a few days ago as an adult in my thirties.

It has everything: adventure, excitement and yummy food! Orlando is an amazing place to visit (which most people know), but living here in Orlando I try to enjoy everything there is to do too even if it is “touristy” because I enjoy doing all those fun things too!
